In what may be the most productive event of the current Bush visit to the Middle East, Laura Bush stopped by a mixed Arab and Jewish school to play cards.
The game isn’t named, but according to the source, they played with colorful cards illustrated with pictures of animals. Go Fish?

Celebrated Bolllywood actor, director, producer, and screenwriter Aamir Khan loves Settlers of Catan, according to a post on his blog.
Getting back to Settlers of Catan, it’s a wonderful game. You must try it if you are fond of board games.

After Worlds will be a new campaign setting for Iron Crown’s HARP SF from something or someone called Cloven Fruit Games.
The setting is a post-apocalyptic world and daily life is a constant struggle. It’s due out in November.

This pun infused card game (M.A.S. stands for “Multi-dimension Attack Ships”) seems to be not much more than a simple game with a brief political hook.
