1Doesn’t seem particularly idiotic to me, except on the part of those arrested. Gambling is strictly illegal in Indonesia; would you be surprised if they’d been arrested for smoking dope?

2I think that a high stakes gambling game in a public airport where it is illegal is kind of idiotic.
It may be more idiotic that the police only noticed this illegal public activity as a result of a tip. Or maybe the tipper should be considered an idiot.
Enough to go around, I think.
